About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The Economic Journal of Development Issues (EJDI) is a bi-annual publication of the Department of Economics, Patan Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University, Lalitpur, Nepal. The basic objective of the publication is to bring into light empirical research, reviews, analysis, theoretical comments and theoretical papers on the various aspects of economic studies with emphasis on the problems of developing countries. EJDI welcomes contributions from national and international scholars and professionals concerned with economies of developing countries and development affairs.

Articles are subject to editorial review by referees from the community of economists and other social scientists. Comments or notes regarding articles are welcome and will be considered for publication to the extent that space permits. The opinions and the interpretations expressed in the articles and book reviews are the personal opinions of authors and reviewers and do not necessarily reflect the views of the publisher and editors, or of any institution with which the author may be associated. The Editorial Board does not guarantee the accuracy of data and the information included in the articles and accepts no responsibility, whatsoever, for any consequences of their use.

Publication Frequency

The journal is published annually.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
