This article explores the critical role of English language proficiency in business expansion and economic growth in Nepal. In the twenty-first century of urbanization and global economy, Nepal cannot remain solitary in the global market, with the English language a crucial tool in international trade, investment, and professional development. This study contextualizes the role of English in Nepal’s key economic sectors of tourism, IT and several manufacturing businesses and further highlights its influences on domestic professionalism and student preparedness. The role of English significantly facilitates the marketing networks, employment and higher education opportunities in Nepal. The article addresses the socio-economic imbalances in access to quality English language education with proposed tactical intercessions. For management and business students, English is not only an academic syllabus rather a career catalyst. The findings suggest that a collaborative approach involving institutional innovation, national policy, and individual initiatives' role is crucial for harnessing English as a catalyst for Nepal’s economic aspirations and long term prosperity.
