Abstract

Teachers are most resource person who plays vital role in the society to change existing social cultural barriers. The study examines job satisfaction and commitment among faculty in P.U.-affiliated colleges in Kathmandu Valley using a quantitative approach. A sample of 383 faculty members was surveyed via structured questionnaires, analyzed with SPSS 27. Findings show that recognition, achievement, income, and organizational policies positively influence job satisfaction, which directly impacts commitment. Regression analysis confirms this relationship, indicating moderate satisfaction and commitment levels. The study underscores the importance of improving job satisfaction to enhance faculty commitment, offering insights for policymakers and administrators.
