Transformational leadership is grounded in moral foundations that are based on four components: Idealized influence, Inspirational motivation, Intellectual stimulation and Individualized consideration. The research uses Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ form 5X) for measuring Transformational leadership style whereas Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) is used to measure the level of job satisfaction among 200 teachers and faculties from educational institutions. The study investigates transformational leadership and job satisfaction by means of descriptive and analytical research methodology. Transformational leadership behavior must be considered by the educational leaders to insure the employees’ job satisfaction which leads to increment of effectiveness, efficiency and performance of the employees.
Aakasha Bajracharya Copyright (c) 2023 Research Management Cell, People's Campus https://www.nepjol.info/index.php/pjm/article/view/63166 Sun, 31 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Teachers’ Job Satisfaction and Its Influence on Affective Commitment: A Case Study of People's Campus https://www.nepjol.info/index.php/pjm/article/view/63167
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between teacher job satisfaction and affective commitment of People's Campus. According to the survey method, the data was obtained by a structured questionnaire on a sample of seventy two teachers using a judgmental sampling procedure. Descriptive statistics analysis was employed. All of the independent variables correlated positively and significantly with the dependent variable (affective commitment). If management can target these job satisfaction criteria, it will be easier to generate a commitment among employees to willingly engage in the organization's development.
Shreejan Shakya, Rajan Bilas Bajracharya Copyright (c) 2023 Research Management Cell, People's Campus https://www.nepjol.info/index.php/pjm/article/view/63167 Sun, 31 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0000 An Empirical Analysis on Present Status of E-waste Management Awareness in Chitwan District, Nepal https://www.nepjol.info/index.php/pjm/article/view/63168
The study aims to assess the current status of E-waste management awareness in Chitwan District. The electrical and electronic waste (e-waste) is the fastest growing waste rivulets in the world. The increasing “market penetration” in developing countries, “replacement market” in developed countries and “high obsolescence rate” make e-waste as one of the fastest growing waste streams. Environmental issues and trade associated with e-waste at local, national and international level have driven many countries to introduce interventions. It has become an urgent need of the hour to know the awareness level of e-waste management at Chitwan. The exploratory and descriptive survey research method have been adopted in the study. The responses have been taken from the people of Chitwan using convenient sampling method. The survey research design has been used in the study. The 5-point Likert scale has been used to measure the awareness of e-waste management in Chitwan district. The study concluded that e-waste management awareness is mainly important because a few electronic and industrial elements are difficult to dispose of or recycle. When it comes to e-waste, it is important for people to be aware of the increasing threat and secure disposal and their impacts on socio-economic values as well as health and environment. A growing amount of e-waste is not considered to be products that have stopped working or become obsolete. Technological advances are coming at us at such a dizzying speed that a lot of electronic devices that still work fine are the ones considered obsolete. The main finding of this study is that the respondents consider e-waste management as an eco-friendly practice. Government of Nepal does not have adequate managing policies regarding e-waste. The study has been focused to understand the e-waste recycling status in Nepal and the concept of 3R’S (reduce, reuse and recycle) should be implemented as soon as possible.
Dhruba Lal Pandey, Nischal Risal, Namita Adhikari Copyright (c) 2023 Research Management Cell, People's Campus https://www.nepjol.info/index.php/pjm/article/view/63168 Sun, 31 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Assessing Student Satisfaction with Campus Canteen Services: A Descriptive Study https://www.nepjol.info/index.php/pjm/article/view/63169
A canteen serves as a venue for the serving and consumption of food, where a diverse range of snacks and beverages are available for purchase.
