Focus and Scope

Samriddhi Journal of Development Studies (SJDS) aims to publish research articles, manuscripts, conceptual papers and project reports relevant to the development and social science sectors globally targeting scholars and professional working in the aforementioned sectors.

Publication Frequency

Samriddhi Journal of Development Studies is published biannually.

Open Access Policy

SJDS provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Copyright

Authors retain the copyright of their articles.

Peer Review Policy

The editorial board uses the rich repository of faculties teaching in National College as reviewers in addition to some external reviewers as well. In addition to that, the editorial board members also review all the articles. In that light, on average, 2 to 3 reviewers are involved per paper. A single review to be finalized may take one to three months roughly. Double blind reviews are done. The final decision regarding publication is done by the editorial board led by the Editor-in-Chief.
