About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Agriculture Information and Training Centre (AITC) was formed by merging the Directorate of Agriculture Training, the Directorate of Livestock Service Training and Extension and the Agriculture Information and Communication Centre. The Directorate of Agriculture Training (DAT) previously managed the Agriculture Development Journal and now AITC is taking responsibility for its publication.

The Agriculture Development Journal aims to publish the research and review articles in the areas of life sciences with a focus on agriculture sciences, animal and veterinary sciences, fisheries and aquaculture, biotechnology, agricultural economics and sociology. This journal gives priority to the research papers, review papers. Short communications will also be published. Agricultural scientists, animal and veterinary scientists, agri-economist, rural sociologists and agriculture extension experts are the principle target professionals of this journal.

Publication Frequency

The journal is published annually.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
