Peer Review Process
Research and review articles received through open calls or individual invitations undergo double-blind peer review prior to publication. The protection team forwards articles to Section Editors for initial relevance assessment. Section Editors submit draft decisions to the Editor-in-Chief, who determines advancement for review or rejection. This initial screening is expedited and completed within six weeks.
Perspectives, including case studies and interviews, are evaluated by section editors and approved by the editor in chief without double-blind peer review.
The process comprises 3 levels of review;
Level 1: Pre-Editorial Screening - Paper structure verification, comprehensive plagiarism check (<10%; no half/full paragraph matches), unique title confirmation (Google, Google Scholar, plagiarism tools), and grammar/typographical corrections used integrated Grammarly software.
Level 2: Scholarly Evaluation - Review of methods, format, title, keywords, tables, figures, citations; assessment of analysis/results, novelty, improvements, journal suitability, subject area, and article type.
Level 3: Final Production - Journal formatting, DOI assignment, page numbering, PDF review by editor, and author proofreading before publication.
