About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Community College Research Journal is a double-blind peer-reviewed interdisciplinary research journal published by the Nepal Public Campus Association (NPCA). It is the umbrella organization representing more than 511 community colleges across Nepal. The journal provides an academic platform for rigorous scholarly inquiry into the issues, challenges, innovations and future pathways of community colleges and higher education (HE) systems, particularly in developing and resource-constrained contexts. CCRJ prioritizes research that examines access, equity, affordability, governance, sustainability, employability, curriculum relevance, digital transformation, community engagement and policy reform in HE. While the journal has a strong focus on community colleges in Nepal, it welcomes national, regional and international perspectives that contribute to comparative and contextual understanding of higher education. The journal publishes original research and critical scholarship in, but not limited to, the following areas:
- Community College Studies
- Higher Education Policy, Financing, and Governance
