[This article presents a critical evaluation of the Master’s (M.A.) level curriculum (2023) in Nepali studies under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Tribhuvan University. The study examines the relevance of both the theoretical and practical components of the curriculum, which is structured into four semesters comprising 63 credit hours. It includes an analysis of curriculum documents, a comparative study of course contents, and a qualitative review of its alignment with contemporary educational and literary trends. The study identifies several issues in the curriculum development process, including a lack of democratic participation, the dominance of male authors, reliance on limited and contextually inadequate reference materials, insufficient inclusion of updated content, and a weak interdisciplinary approach. These challenges undermine the inclusivity and relevance of the curriculum. Accordingly, the article proposes practical measures for improvement, including a participatory development process, gender balance, incorporation of contemporary and authoritative reference materials, and expansion toward an interdisciplinary framework.]
