Peer Review Process
The Karfok Multiple Campus Journal (KMCJ) follows a double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality and academic integrity of published articles. Manuscripts are first received by the Editorial Board and undergo an initial desk review to assess their relevance, originality, adherence to the journal's guidelines, and overall quality. Based on this review, authors may be advised to make preliminary corrections before the manuscript proceeds to peer review.
The Editorial Board then selects two independent reviewers based on their academic qualifications and subject expertise. The revised manuscript is sent to the reviewers for evaluation under a double-blind review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential. Reviewers assess the manuscript and provide recommendations along with detailed comments. Their reports are forwarded to the authors for revision and rewriting. After the authors submit the revised manuscript, the Editorial Board evaluates whether the reviewers' comments have been adequately addressed. The manuscript then undergoes copyediting and formatting by the Editorial Board. Based on the reviewers' recommendations and the final editorial assessment, the Editorial Board makes the final decision to accept or reject the manuscript. Accepted manuscripts are subjected to proofreading and finalization before publication. The complete peer-review process generally takes 4–8 weeks, depending on the extent of revisions and reviewer availability.
