Focus and Scope

Mindscape: A Journal of English & Cultural Studies, published by the English Dept. of Padmakanya Multiple Campus, Bagbazar, T.U. focusses on English Studies, covering the most debatable issues ranging from aesthetics and politics of English literature and linguistics to pandemics, health, commerce, media and communication, religion, environment, migration, art, and then to race, gender, class, ethnicity, border, time, space and similar others of the contemporary global world. The journal publishes original and unpublished research-oriented articles/essays on any topic of Literature and Cultural Studies. The journal welcomes inter and/or multidisciplinary approach to English and Cultural studies.

The journal aims to provide a platform for the faculties and intellectuals of English and Cultural Studies, particularly from Nepal and India to share and exchange their knowledge with faculties and academics from abroad. It particularly targets Academic group of English and Cultural Studies of the world.

Peer Review Policy

Mindscape: A Journal of English and Cultural Studies is a peer reviewed journal and subjected to anti-plagiarism checking. First the editorial board makes the primary selection of the articles through both anti plagiarism checking systems and evaluating the content of the submitted article, relevance of the subject, use of language etc. Then the article is sent to a reviewer, who is an expert on the concerned subject area of the submitted article by hiding the identity of the author/s and their affiliation with an institution. The reviewer is given 21 days for reviewing an article. The reviewer sends back the article to the editorial board after the review is over with feedback/ comments for the author. Quite often the reviewer provides suggestions for revising and rewriting. After this the article is sent back to the author for revision/rewriting. This process is maintained without disclosing the identity of either a reviewer or an author. When the article is revised/rewritten, according to the suggestions and feedback of the reviewer, the editorial board reviews the article before it is accepted finally for publication.

Open Access Policy

Mindscape provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
