Nepalese Journal of Agricultural Sciences (NepJAS) is a peer reviewed and open access journal published by Directorate of Research and Training (DoRT), Himalayan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (HICAST), Kathmandu, Nepal. The scope of Nepalese Journal of Agricultural Sciences Agriculture include the following fields of agricultural and veterinary sciences: Agri-economics, Agri-business, Agricultural extension, Agricultural engineering, Animal science, and Veterinary, Aquaculture and fisheries, Agronomy, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Soil Science, Food Science, Genetic engineering, Horticulture, Irrigation Science, Land use and waste management in agriculture, Agro-Ecology, Plant Biotechnology, Plant Breeding and genetics, Sociology of agriculture, Agro-chemistry, Sustainable/ Conservation agriculture, Agro-forestry, Veterinary sciences.

Peer Review Policy
The Nepalese Journal of Agricultural Sciences (NepJAS) is a peer reviewed scientific journal of international standard. It conducts evaluation of the manuscripts by peers (two) with an expertise in the relevant subject. A thorough peer review is conducted to maintain standard of quality.
NepJAS implements a double-blind peer review system to ensure unbiased review. That means all the articles published in the journal undergo integrated per review by peers and consequent revisions by author(s) as per requirement.
