About the Journal
Focus and Scope
THE ACADEMIA is an interdisciplinary journal published by National University Teachers' Association of Nepal, Central Committee, Kathmandu, Nepal. It aims to disseminate high quality research articles in wide fields such as literature, sociology, anthropology, population, economics, geography, political science, physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, environment science, medicine, engineering, education, management, agriculture and forestry. The Journal invites contributions from researchers in Nepal as well as from all over the world. It accepts high quality research articles from a well-designed study and with findings that have potential to make an impact on the respective field of study measurable by citation in scholarly articles, and discussions in forums of concerned stakeholders. We also accept such research articles that make at least a modest contribution if the study is excellently designed.

The articles are published in English and Nepali.

This journal offers immediate open access to its material on the assumption that making research publicly available fosters a more extensive worldwide exchange of information.

Peer Review Process
The journal uses a single-blind peer-review process. It has a number of experts of the required disciplines of the articles. The process takes about 15 days. The editorial board will make final decisions.
