JCMS Nepal is a quarterly, peer reviewed, open access, biomedical journal and welcomes contributions for publication of original research articles, case reports, short communications, review articles, letter to the editors and book reviews on all topics of biomedical sciences.
The journal aims to provide a strong platform for the researchers from Nepal and other developing countries to publish their research findings. The journal can also be accessed through www.cmsnepal.edu.np.
The manuscripts after editorial scrutiny are reviewed by minimum two peer reviewers of the same field. We have opted double blind peer review system for neutral evaluation. We ensure that the peer reviewer is not from the same institution as that of any of the authors and not having conflict of interest to the work. It will be the sole right of the editorial board to decide the reviewer for the manuscript.
The reviewer’s comments are geneDrrally sent to the authors within a month of submission. Taking into consideration of the reviewers’ comments, the editorial board decides whether the manuscript is accepted or accepted with minor revision or accepted with major revision or rejected and such decision will be informed to the corresponding author. The authors may have to respond to the reviewers’ comments and submit the revised manuscript which is then forwarded to the reviewers who will provide further comments. The editors may choose for re-review of the manuscript regardless of the reviewer’s comments to ensure fair evaluation.
The editorial board will make a final decision of the acceptance or rejection of the manuscript.
The journal is published quarterly: published in March, June, September and December.
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Articles in the journal are published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International Licence. This license enables reusers to copy and distribute the material in any medium or format in unadapted form only, for noncommercial purposes only, and only so long as attribution is given to the creator.
Personal subscription price NRs. 300 per copy (1000 annual subscription); and NRs. 500 per copy (NRs. 1600 annually) for single institution and all authorized users, regardless of geographic location, within Nepal

Personal subscription price 5$ per copy (16$ annual subscription); and 6$ per copy (20$ annually) for single institution and all authorized users, regardless of geographic location, within SAARC countries (Air Delivery).

JCMS-Nepal does NOT charge authors article submission fees and it does NOT charge article processing fees.
