Focus and Scope
Journal of Wetlands Ecology is an international peer-reviewed, Open Access journal of Nature and Human Academy Nepal (NHAN) dedicated to the exchange and dissemination of information related to wetland issues connecting wetlands, human and wildlife. The opinions expressed by the contributing authors are not necessarily those of NHAN. The designations employed and the presentation of the materials in the Journal do not employ the expression of any opinion on the part of NHAN concerning the legal or constitutional status of any country or geographical area.

Peer Review Process
Once the manuscript is received, it will be checked by NHAN to check whether it is relevant for the journal. If relevant, it will go further through double blinded peer review process, through a suitable academic editor. If not relevant, the corresponding author will be notified about immediate rejection of the manuscript. The academic editor will assign the manuscript to relevant reviewer/s for peer review. The peer review process can take minimum of 2 months.
NHAN will request relevant researchers to serve as editors and reviewers for specific manuscripts. The editors and reviewers will be acknowledged in the journal website. The list of the editors and reviewers is hence dynamic and will grow with time. The current list includes researchers who made contribution to the review and editing in the past.
The journal will publish articles regularly through out the year.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
