About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The Journal of Entrepreneurship & Management Studies (JEMS) is published by Mid-West University School of Management (MUSOM). It aims at providing an academic platform for research and scholarship on management-related themes and issues. The journal is to include empirical, conceptual and methodological articles from the wider range of business and management disciplines, including financial accounting, economics, business ethics, business policy, governance, human resources, knowledge management, marketing, organization theory, social entrepreneurship, organizational behaviour, research methods, technology management, public sector management, strategic management and crisis management.

Journal of Entrepreneurship & Management Studies (JEMS) is double-blind peer reviewed interdisciplinary journal published by MUSOM Department of Research, Innovation & Entrepreneurship. The mission of JEMS is to publish empirical research that tests, builds management theory and contributes to management practices. Empirical methods include qualitative, quantitative, meta-analytic, and mixed methods. To get published in JEMS, the study must provide strong empirical and theoretical contributions with the focus on the relevance of desired contributions to management practices. The journal covers articles across business concepts and practices from e-business and emerging management issues.

Focusing on entrepreneurship, management, innovation, economics, marketing, digital business practices, finance and accounting, JEMS is published both in print and electronic formats.

Articles to be published must be original, insightful, stimulating, relevant and theoretically supported research that can significantly contribute to the management practice.

Publication Frequency

The Journal of Entrepreneurship & Management Studies (JEMS) is published annually.

Open Access Policy

The Journal of Entrepreneurship & Management Studies (JEMS) provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
