Abstract

The paper examines how female entrepreneurs’ intentions are influenced by financial resources. The aim is to examine both direct and indirect routes through attitudes. The investigation is based on positivist philosophy and a deductive research approach. It uses a cross-sectional survey, a quantitative study of Nepalese female business owners. A purposive sampling approach was used to select 385 active business owners. A structured questionnaire based on well-tested Likert scales was used to collect the data. Analysis was conducted using SmartPLS software, which supports partial least squares structural equation modeling. Direct path analysis confirms that resources provide the requisite structural foundation. Indirect analysis demonstrates that attitude is a very crucial mediator in the relationship between the resources and intention. This mediation establishes that psychological preparedness translates financial contributions into action. The findings confirm the combination of Resource-Based View and Planned Behavior. The findings conclude that capital must be internalized through positive evaluations. Theoretical insight provides an overview of the intentionality of women entrepreneurs. Practical implications imply using a combination of technical, financial, and mind-building training. The policy interventions need attention on simplified credit and financial literacy training. Increasing formal financial inclusion should encourage women to pursue sustainable business objectives.
